Lights, CAMRA, action!

The Marmalade team was recently invited to the 2009 Great British Beer Festival, organised by CAMRA.

The even took place in Earl's Court (not Olympia, as we discovered en route to Olympia), and was a celebration of all things beery (and cidery). The venue was packed all day long, and despite the somewhat apocalyptic rain storms which arrived later in the day, the crowds arrived in their droves into the evening.

We decided to go on 'Hat Day', and felt somewhat naked when we turned up hatless, and so our intrepid Creative Director, Pete O'Connor (pictured) led the way with a fantastic balloon hat!

Thanks again to Tony Jerome of CAMRA, and to all who we met on the day, for making it a great day out. More details on this (and next) year's event can be found here: http://gbbf.camra.org.uk/home. Cheers!
